John Lombardi is a Principal Data & Analytics Consultant at Greencastle Associates Consulting, where he leads a team of consultants embedded across the utility industry. For more than three years, he has served as a direct analytics advisor to distribution leadership at a major multi-state utility — working at the intersection of data strategy, operational decision-making, and technical execution.

John's work focuses on closing the gap between what utility data can tell you and what actually reaches the people making decisions. His engagements span executive KPI frameworks, Power BI architecture, data governance, and organizational analytics strategy.

He also currently serves as a Major in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, where he has spent nearly 15 years as an Intelligence Officer. He will soon be taking on oversight of the state's data modernization initiative — a reminder that the gap between data and decisions is a universal problem.
