Dan Foster-Roman is a mechanical engineer with over a decade of experience bridging industrial operations and advanced analytics in the power sector. As Industry Principal for Power & Utilities at Seeq, he shapes industry strategy and go-to-market offerings across generation, transmission, distribution, and OEM/service providers. Under his leadership, Seeq has helped drive the power industry toward embedded, production-scale AI and decision intelligence, tackling industry-wide challenges in performance, reliability, operations, and asset management. Previously at Ontario Power Generation, Dan held progressive engineering and analytics leadership roles, including founding an industry-leading remote Monitoring & Diagnostics Center that delivered multi-million-dollar impact through plant performance improvements, condition-based maintenance, and averted equipment failures. He's an active contributor to EPRI, the IAEA, and the Utility Analytics Institute.
