Meredith Gilstrap is a Senior Principal Data Scientist at Itron. She leads the distributed intelligence data science team, which builds edge-based ML/AI algorithms. These algorithms include DER applications and sub-second waveform anomaly detection, among others. Meredith has spent most of the last decade building and deploying machine learning models in the utilities sector. Her experience in this sector spans consumption forecasting, price optimization models, ML/AI for DERs, and a variety of other miscellaneous applications. Meredith has also worked as a data science consultant for retail and government concerns.
