Victor Cintron is an AI Architect in the Data and AI organization at CenterPoint Energy, where he designs enterprise AI platforms that enable utilities to safely operationalize advanced analytics and generative AI in highly regulated environments. He works across business units including call center operations, legal, asset management, and enterprise analytics, helping translate AI innovation into reliable, governed production systems.

With more than 32 years in software and technology, including 14 years leading AI and analytics initiatives in the utility sector, Victor focuses on bridging innovation with governance at scale. His work centers on agent based AI systems that embed organizational knowledge, standards, and controls directly into operational workflows, accelerating development while preserving human oversight, security, and compliance.

A major innovation Victor is leading is the CNP Way, an organization as code platform that codifies standards, security policies, and governance into persistent organizational memory shared across AI agents and development workflows.

He holds a BA in Fine Arts from The University of Texas at Austin, an MFA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA from the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business. Victor lives in Houston, Texas with his wife and four daughters.
