MAGNUS (Monitoring and Analytical Guidance for Network Underground Services) is a platform developed at Southern Company to help teams manage underground distribution networks more proactively. It brings key data and workflows into one place so users can better understand asset health, risk, project status, and resource needs. 
The platform uses cloud-based data integration, analytics models, and Power BI dashboards within a custom application. It supports capabilities such as transformer health modeling, voltage forecasting, anomaly detection, maintenance prioritization, budget tracking, and project monitoring. 
This presentation will show how MAGNUS helps utility teams move from reactive reporting to more proactive asset and lifecycle management. Attendees will see how connected data can support better decisions around reliability, rehabilitation, replacement, and investment planning.
