Mahesh Sudhakaran is the General Manager for IBM’s Energy, Environment &Utilities Industry. In this role, he leads an outstanding global team focused on sales, strategy, product management, and partnerships for the industry. His mission is to support energy and utilities companies globally lead in the era of sustainable energy transition with clean electrification.

He is recognized as a thought leader in the Energy and Utilities, Industrial and Industry 4.0 spaces. He is a frequent speaker in global industry forums on Clean Electrification, Industry AI and IoT and has been featured in Forbes, Yahoo Finance and US News. He is an elected member of IBM’s Industry Academy, GridWise Infrastructure Advisory Council, and an active member of the Forbes Technology Council. He is also an Executive Member of IBM’s Asian-American Diversity Council.

Mahesh has a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, First Class with Distinction, from the National Institute of Technology, India and an MBA, Director's List, from the University of Cambridge. He is a global shaper and has lived in 7 countries and loves the milieu of technology, culture and business.
