Utilities are collecting data at an unprecedented rate while teams labor to derive actionable insights from this data deluge. Lack of an industry framework inhibits the ability to both identify and realize the business value from these efforts. In this presentation, we offer a business value framework that can be applied across analytics initiatives from value hypothesis to value realization, as well as examples of how this has been done from AMI to EV deployment.
