Dr. Prasenjit Shil is Manager of Digital Innovation at Ameren and a data and analytics leader with nearly two decades of experience in the energy sector. He leads initiatives in AI, forecasting, and advanced analytics to drive digital and operational transformation across utility operations. In recognition of his work, he was named one of the "Top 25 Thought Leaders in Utility Analytics” in 2022 by the Utility Analytics Institute and has received multiple excellence and leadership awards from Ameren and IEEE.

An active IEEE leader, Dr. Shil serves as IEEE Region 5 North Area Chair (2024–25, 2026–27). He is an IEEE Senior Member and a member of the IEEE–Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) Honor Society. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology. His work focuses on bridging data science, innovation, and energy systems to help shape the utility of the future.
