Customer Analytics in the Age of AI: Unlocking Insights, Driving Transformation

Join the UAI Customer Analytics Community for an engaging, interactive Breakout & Readout session at UA Week, where we will explore the transformative role of data and AI in shaping the future of customer analytics within the utility industry. The session will feature three key topics, each designed to address the critical challenges and opportunities in leveraging data-driven strategies to enhance customer engagement, support clean energy goals, and navigate ethical considerations. Topics to be discussed:

  • Extracting Actionable Insights from Customer Interactions Using GenAI – Exploring how generative AI can be utilized to turn customer interaction data into actionable insights, enhancing decision-making and customer engagement.
  • Clean Energy Transition Enabled by Data & AI – Discussing the role of data and AI in driving utilities' clean energy strategies, optimizing resources, and accelerating the transition to sustainable energy solutions.
  • Ethical Considerations in Utility Analytics – Addressing the ethical challenges in utility analytics, including data privacy, bias mitigation, and ensuring fairness in AI-driven decision-making processes.

In this session, participants will break into three (3) self-selected groups, each focusing on one of the topics above. Facilitators will guide the discussions, ensuring that key insights and takeaways are captured. After 30 minutes of deep discussion, each group will present a 5-7-minute readout to the larger room, followed by a group-wide Q&A session. This format will foster collaboration and enable participants to share diverse perspectives on these critical issues.

Whether you’re working on enhancing customer experience, driving sustainable energy practices, or ensuring ethical AI use, this session will provide valuable insights and practical takeaways to apply in your organization’s customer analytics strategy.
