Tim Webster is a Director at Exelon with over 26 years of experience in technology and strategic leadership roles involving research, solution development, program and project management. Within the Exelon IT Architecture and Engineering organization, Tim has responsibility for supporting the Architecture community’s ability to add value to Innovation, technology governance, and to streamline the way Exelon works.
Prior to his current role, Tim supported the Exelon’s Utility of the Future team investigating new business models and designing cyber-physical systems such as Smart Cities and Modular Grid applications. Tim has been a “Technology Scout” for the Exelon Corporate Strategy, Innovation and Sustainability team. Tim had responsibility for the Digital Worker and Work Advisor opportunity areas and improving the Culture of Innovation, as well as researching the latest trends in big data, sensors, robotics, and energy tech and figuring out ways to apply them to business challenges.
Tim has worked collaboratively with every Exelon utility on initiatives related to design thinking, customer communications, and improvements to the flow of information. Tim studied computers at Purdue and has since switched to studying humans.
