Description
Exelon is developing analytics capability for proactive weather-related outage prediction and Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR) management.
When it comes to extreme weather events, there is lack of predictive tools that provide granular damage prediction, resource allocation, and ETR. Utilities face increased restoration costs, long outage duration, higher overall restoration time, and customer dissatisfaction.
Exelon will demonstrate the tools they are developing in this space and share their vision on how they will integrate together to improve the end-to-end storm restoration process at Exelon.
Utility professionals will leave this session with:
- An understanding of the challenges with the current storm restoration process and lack of predictive tools.
- An overview of Exelon’s state-of-the-art outage prediction tool. • an overview of Exelon’s predictive ETR tool that addresses both operational and customer needs.
- Exelon's vision of a Storm AI platform to enhance the overall storm restoration process.
