Chris Ivanov has worked in the utility industry for over a decade. Currently, he is the Director Forecasting and Optimization for Madison Gas and Electric Company (MGE) where he is tasked with overseeing and developing sales, demand, and revenue forecasts for both electric and natural gas. His responsibilities also include reviewing fuel budgets and customer analytic projects including AMI data analysis, customer surveys, and load research to support rate cases. While at MGE, he has also served as the functional leader on a digital transformation project. In this role, his responsibilities included leading teams in the areas of customer, meters, billing, financial, and marketing. Prior to coming to MGE, Chris worked for a consulting firm where he managed their load forecasting, load research, and DSM practice areas.
Mr. Ivanov earned a master's degree in Applied Economics and Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Affairs from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He also holds an MBA from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin.
