Sacha works with utilities and SAS data scientists to apply analytics to the issues facing utilities. One aspect of his work involves bringing together the experience of utilities, the guidance and funding of the Department of Energy, the research strength of academia and the analytics expertise of SAS to address some of the grid’s toughest problems, such as low grid inertia. His team works with clients in using analytics to improve grid reliability and customer visibility, and to ease the shift to green energy.
