Claude Godin, Principal Consultant at DNV, has more than 40 years of experience in the electricity market. His career began at Manitoba Hydro in the line trades area initially, followed by assignments within System Operations and concluded as the Manager of Load Research. Following that he worked for a major energy-consulting firm leading teams of professional consultants and managers, designing and deploying complex meter data collection and analysis systems. His many projects included design and implementation of open access market operations systems involving retail settlement, real time pricing systems, and demand response programs. Mr. Godin was responsible for launching EnergyICT’s North American Business Unit in 2005 acting as North American President under the Elster Group family of companies. In 2013, he joined DNV specializing in load interval analytics.
